My name is Chris Behrens, a 10-year email marketing and analytics veteran. I've helped build email marketing programs and consult for companies ranging from Fortune 100 consumer packaged goods (CPG) behemoths to multi-billion dollar retailers. I LOVE email and I love helping companies scale their programs to drive more sales and a better customer experience using data.

I started SalesEmail because I love to teach email marketers how to drive more impact - more specifically SALES - using email marketing and data. I have loved helping to develop the next generation of data-driven email marketers throughout my professional career- but I want to make a bigger impact.

I've consulted for dozens of companies in my career and the most common scenario I see is that nine times out of ten, retail email marketers are just trying to scramble to get an email campaign to subscribers on time to advertise their next promotion or sale. And sure, email marketing is great for that. Short term impact shows that the email helped drive sales because you had a sale. Great! But what next?
The bottom line is that there is SO MUCH MORE to email marketing than just advertising what promotions or sales you have going on.
